Today we had very low key day. No activities or playing with friends.
So after the kids were bathed and in their pajamas and tucked in bed we settled down to watch a show just the two of us.
As we were watching our show we got that feeling like somebody was watching us.
Chad and I glance up to see both our kids at the top of the stairs... just staring at us. Not saying a word. Finally we make a comment and they tell us they are not tired.
It's 9 pm at night and we tell them to go jump on the trampoline. Their little eyes light up with excitement. Voices start to share gratitude about being the best parents ever and how much they love us.
It was really cute and sweet. I feel so lucky to have these little ones in our family.
-- On another side note that was just so sweet. We were reading the Old Testament children's versions and both of them were right on my lap. We probably read 9 stories and they kept wanting to hear more. It was also neat to explain to Myla a certain aspect of the gospel and her eyes light up as she said, "Oh, ya I get it now!"
We enjoying our summer and feeling like it is already going so fast.
