Staycation- Day 5

Today was Gymnastics for M.  Her summer class started last Tuesday.  It was also crazy hair day.  So we put her hair in curlers prior to her going to bed last night.  This cute girl came into our room all dressed and ready to get her curlers pulled out at 7:30 in the morning.  She asked me if she missed Gymnastics.  I told her we still had an hour before it started and how impressed I was with her getting dressed all on her own.

During the mid-morning Chad was busy away downstairs in the basement framing our bathroom and storage room.  I know to most that would not be a staycation but he is just loving every minute he gets to be down there.

Around lunch time we went to Chick-Fil-A for their "Receipt Day".  Whatever meal you purchased you can get the same meal again from the 15 - 30 of June.

Cute M and her curls that are starting to relax.

I completely prepped the kids prior to going.  They both ordered 4 piece Chicken Nuggets, Fruit Cup and Chocolate Milk.  It was a proud Mommy moment.

We went to the Legacy Center for some swimming.  It was so much fun.  The kids loved the lazy river, slides and the water toys.  It was very similar to the ones in Arlington Texas that we had passes to when M was 4.  We decided that we had some much fun we got monthly passes for the summer.  The kids are really excited to go.  It is an indoor pool with a portion outdoor.  I am happy that the kids are going to have a great time in the water without the direct sun.

I should have grabbed pictures while we were swimming but we were having so much fun I forgot to get any.

M giving a thumbs up on going back again.

E is in agreement.

It's official we are going to go back.
After we went to Thanksgiving Point for ice cream.  Then Chad went working away on the basement again.  M went off to play with friends.  E was tuckered out again.  On a side note before school ended E was taking a nap every other day and now it is every afternoon.

When E woke up he joined Chad and I on the trampoline.

We ended the night with the kids in bed getting some rest before our big adventure to Seven Peaks Water Park tomorrow.

Chad and I ended the night watching our movie that came from Netflix "Minority Report".

Another Great Day!!!!

I think I am getting spoiled having Chad home all week.  It is a great week to be home.  This is our yearly week long celebration.  Our Anniversary is Wednesday and my birthday is on Father's Day.
